Stress Release Exercise

I've been very overwhelmed at work with my counterpart out due to a death in the family.  It is important that we spend that time healing and bonding with our families.  Due to this current situation I have larger than normal amounts of stress when I come home from work and have been finding myself wanting to just be a zombie couch potato upon coming home.  I have finally mustered up enough will power to move one step closer to getting back into my weekly workout routine.  I was able to go roller blading this weekend while my preschooler rode his bike.  It was very fun for both of us.  Tonight though, I wanted to do some stress relieving yoga.  So here it is. . .

The instructor is a bit weird, but I really like his theory to control stress with breathing and learn to channel the stress to be a positive energy.

Lovin' the tank top warm weather!

Can't seem to get enough of this tank top online video.  I was having a tough time getting motivated so I started watching TV on Hulu and on the first commercial break I ran upstairs to get my workout clothes on and then on the next commercial break I switched over to this Hulu workout and busted it out in 20 min. . .boom!  back to my show!

Need to feel Centered

Ok.  So it's been a while since I last posted.  I was down with Strep Throat, then my preschooler caught Strep and had an ER visit, then I got my home ready to meet with a Realtor to start the selling process.  I am currently functioning as a single mother with my husband in the service.  I will be living without him for 10-11 months.  I am in month 4.  However, I am not going to let all those totally acceptable excuses stand in my way! :)  Since I am currently feeling so overwhelmed I decided to switch things up to a more relaxing Yoga segment.  Hope it helps you find a more centered self as well.

Ready to start something new

Seriously, I need a hobby. So I am going to start this blog to help me with my exercise plan and hopefully someone else too. I will watch the web for free online workouts that are relatively short and I may post links to a few long ones if they are REALLY amazing.
Here's my first link. I took a picture today and I am not happy with the way my arms look so I am focusing on toning my arms for a bit until I get bored or they are looking super hot and then I'll move onto whatever moves me next. I am going to pay a bit of attention to my whims to keep my interest in this high. Good luck. . .to me. ;)
20 minute work out 2-3 times per week.
